masks

I stumbled across these historical Navajo Indian masks today. I was immediately drawn to the impressive textures and proportions of the masks. There's something brooding and illusory about these photographs. I can picture Vogue Hommes Japan using these as styling inspiration for an editorial. Incredibly inspiring nonetheless.

Both photographs by Edward S. Curis, 1904
